Log the set. Not the app.

Twenty seconds between sets is all the time you get. PRsonal needs less than that: one thumb, one glance, no account, no cloud. Every rep stays on your phone.

A live session

This is the whole app, mid-workout.

No tab bar, no menus, nothing to navigate. One screen holds the clock, the sets you have done and the one you are on.

The set you are on
A 2px chalk rail and a faint tint mark the live row. Its two fields are the only ones you can type into, so you cannot edit the wrong set by accident.
A record, spotted for you
The star lands the moment a set beats your best. You never go looking for it, and it is never a pop-up.
Done, then rest
Tap the check and the rest timer starts itself. The next set becomes the live one and the page does not move under your thumb.

What it does

Everything a training log needs. Nothing it does not.

A live session, not a form

A running clock, a progress bar, and the current set lit up with a chalk rail. Finish a set and the rest timer starts itself.

Plans and routines, one tap in

Build routines, assign them to days, group them into plans. Every routine on the home screen is one tap from a running workout.

Records it spots for you

Hit a new best and PRsonal marks it as it happens. All-time records rank by estimated 1RM, so a heavy triple and a long set compare fairly.

See what you have been skipping

A seven-axis chart across chest, shoulders, arms, back, core, legs and glutes — with per-workout volume beside it, latest session picked out.

An exercise list you own

Add the variations your gym actually has. Edit the ones that are close, delete the rest. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is fixed.

Body measurements

Weight, body fat, chest, waist, arm and thigh. Two taps from a bottom sheet, each with a history you can prune.

Works with no signal

Everything runs on the phone. No account, no sync, no spinner to wait on in a basement gym with one bar of reception.

Four themes, one dark canvas

Chalk, Sky, Sage or Amber. The accent is all a theme changes, so the app never stops looking like itself.

Made for the gym floor

Designed around a barbell, not a desk.

Every choice in the interface answers the same question: can you read it and hit it while you are out of breath, holding something heavy?

Legible in bad light

Dark top to bottom, with real contrast instead of grey on grey — and no white panel flashbanging you between sets.

Numbers that hold still

Weights, reps and timers use tabular figures, so the column never shifts under your thumb when 9 becomes 10.

Built for one thumb

Every control is at least 48px and within reach, because your other hand is busy. Big targets, no long-press secrets.

Themes

Pick an accent. Keep the canvas.

One setting, four options. The surfaces, text and hairlines never move — only the colour that marks the thing you are about to touch.

Your data

It never leaves the phone.

PRsonal has no server to send anything to. That is not a privacy policy, it is the architecture — there is no account to make and nothing to opt out of.

No account

No email, no sign-up, no password to forget. Install it and start logging.

Stored on device

Your whole history lives in a database on the phone. Nothing is uploaded, ever.

Yours to take

Export a full backup to a file whenever you like, and import it on a new phone.

First install

Six steps, once.

Android treats an app that did not come from a store as an unknown app, and it is right to. Here is exactly what it will ask you, in the order it asks.

  1. Download the file

Your browser saves prsonal.apk to Downloads. Chrome may warn that this kind of file can harm your device — it shows that for every APK ever downloaded, not for this one in particular.

  2. Let your browser install apps

Tap the downloaded file. Android will say your browser is not allowed to install unknown apps and offer you the setting. Turn on Allow from this source for that one app. If you are not offered it: Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → your browser.

  3. Let Play Protect scan it

Play Protect will offer to send the app for scanning. Let it — it is a separate system from the permission above and runs either way. For an app it has not seen before it says so and offers Install anyway. That is the expected answer for a direct download, not a finding against this app.

  4. Install, then open

Tap Install. It takes a couple of seconds — there is no first-run setup, no account and no onboarding to sit through.

  5. Allow notifications when asked

The first time a rest timer runs, the app asks to post notifications. That is the only permission it ever requests. Decline it and everything still works; you just will not get told when the rest is up.

  6. Turn the install permission back off

Optional, and worth doing. Go back to Install unknown apps and revoke it for your browser. Nothing about PRsonal needs it once it is installed.

From 30 September 2026 Google requires apps installed on certified Android devices to come from a verified developer, starting in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand and expanding globally during 2027. Until that reaches your region nothing here changes; after it, an unverified app needs Google’s separate advanced flow to install.
